Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Roarivores Triceratops

Continuing with my reviews of the Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Roarivores, we now have the Triceratops Roarivore! Please enjoy this Emperor Dinobot review!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom packages feature an exploding volcano in the background, and a high tech dinosaur enclosure on the back and front. We know Isla Nublar is in trouble, and for the first time since 1997, we are actually trying to get the dinosaurs off the island. The packaging reminds us of that. But this time we are not looting and pillaging. The packaging for all the Roarivores is open so kids can try the dinosaur's roars.

Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom Roarivores Metriacanthosaurus

I, Emperor Dinobot, do not think there has ever been another dinosaur toy with the name Metriacanthosaurus on it. Sure there have been Megalosaurs, Yangchuanosaurus and even Sinraptor, but the ever obscure Metriacanthosaurus, which mysteriously popped up in 1993's Jurassic Park while Nedry was opening up the cryogenic samples, has never had a figure on its own. We owe its cameo in the movie thanks to Greg Paul's book Predatory Dinosaurs of the World (1988) in which the mysterious "medium spined lizard" makes its appearance, even with a full reconstruction (the figure depicted was, to my present knowledge Yangchuanosaurus s.). The species has had taxonomic fuzziness over the years, being Yangchuanosaurus and Sinraptor at various stages, but the fragmentary remains have been cleared for its own existence, and after all these years, we finally have a figure that, while probably inaccurate, is still enormously welcomed by Jurassic lovers, as well as lovers of obscure dinosaurs.

The instructions present a rendering of the dinosaur, how to use it, a ton of warnings in every language, and how to change the three A76 batteries.
